Dr. Tom Robson

I am currently Associate Professor and Coordinator of Academic Programs in the Millikin University School of Theatre & Dance, where I teach classes in theatre history, dramatic literature, directing, and playwriting. As a scholar my current research focuses on the intersection of performance theory and tourism within the theme park environment, and most recently I co-edited the anthology Performance and the Disney Theme Park Experience: The Tourist as Actor with Dr. Jennifer A. Kokai, published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2019. As a director I have staged both plays and musicals, with an especial passion for developing new work.
